ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Work and maintain inventory control system
  • Oversee and assist with the loading and unloading of deliveries
  • Receive materials daily; ensure orders are delivered undamaged and are filled accurately
  • Maintain tool and equipment check out system
  • Prepare and organize materials for jobs
  • Maintain min/max levels on stock items as established by Department Managers
  • Manage relationships with key suppliers to maintain quality of goods, timely delivery and compliance to terms of contracts
  • Ensure the secure storage and accountability of incoming supplies
  • Ensure only authorized personnel operate forklift equipment
  • Ensure forklift is in proper working order and properly maintained
  • Ensure warehouse is kept clean and orderly at all times
  • Keep multiple warehouses neat, clean, and well organized
  • All other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, LICENSES, ETC:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with computers, word processing and spreadsheets
  • Experience in mechanical trade preferred
  • Experience in purchasing and inventory control in a parts supply related business
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Ability to be insured on company automobile insurance
  • Acceptable background check and drug screening

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Demonstrate an ability to perform tasks that are both analytical and mathematical as they relate to financial data
  • Ability to assimilate and report accurate data in a timely and efficient manner
  • Ability to listen, understand and communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management
  • Ability to multitask and focus on organization
