Warehouse Job at Schillings
Great news! Schillings is currently looking for a Warehouse team member at our Saint John, IN location. This position is full-time with no nights or Sundays, and has great opportunities for advancement.
Responsibilities:
- Keep warehouses organized and clean, with orders pulled efficiently and accurately
- Receive and check-in new materials
- Keep up with inventory, including counting and re-counting
- Load and unload box trucks/semis
- Basic lawn maintenance; snow removal in the winter
- Report damaged/missing products to Operations Manager
- Follow proper procedures for damaged items
- Float between Warehouses as needed, while maintaining knowledge of different products
- Drive Non-CDL trucks as needed
- Communicate with Operations Manager to ensure all tasks are complete
- Any other tasks or areas of responsibility that the Operations Manager, General Manager, or Schilling family deem appropriate
Education/Requirements:
- Maintain a valid driver's license
- Regularly lift/carry/move up to 50lbs
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
- Be professional and eager to assist customers
- Organizational skills, ability to do basic math, and read a tape measure
- Proficient scoring on all candidate testing
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen
