High-volume Delaware County company looking for a motivated individual with great leadership skills to join our family business as a Warehouse and Fulfillment Supervisor. Job Requirements

The Warehouse and Fulfillment Supervisor plans, organizes, and monitors the receiving, warehousing, picking, and fulfillment of all items received from outside vendors and those manufactured onsite. He/she ensures a safe, smooth, and consistent operation so that inventory and orders are handled in an effective and efficient manner.

Essential Job Functions Will Include:

  • Maintaining and overseeing performance of team members to accomplish the warehouse and fulfillment needs in a safe, effective, and efficient manner
  • Developing, documenting, and improving team processes and SOPs
  • Maintaining an equipment structure and maintenance routine to accomplish the warehouse and fulfillment processes
  • Monitoring material receiving, fulfillment to customers, and inventory management within the warehouse using RF scanners
  • Working with Supply Chain and Accounting to resolve paperwork and system inventory discrepancies
  • Ensuring that inventory is being rotated within the warehouse and that all areas are organized, clean, and safe
  • Developing and recommending annual budget requirements for the warehouse and fulfillment departments
  • Other responsibilities as needed

Work Environment
This position works in a warehouse setting with limited climate control. Must be able to perform in the cold of winter and heat of the summer. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and standard warehouse equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, hand trucks, box cutters and tape dispensers.

This is a full-time position. Must be flexible and able to work nights and weekends as needed.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move objects, and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Requirements:

Education and Experience

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in warehousing, receiving, inventory control or materials management in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years of supervisory experience required
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Excellent communication skills required, including communication across multiple departments
  • Computer and RF Scanner experience required; experience with ERP/MRP systems required.
  • Forklift experience
