Provident Travel , a subsidiary of AAA Club Alliance, is seeking a Travel Advisor for our Cincinnati, Hyde Parke location! The Senior Travel Agent is responsible for utilizing relationship selling to maximize leisure travel experiences for members/clients and build a loyal base of repeat clientele.

**This is a Hybrid position and will be eligible to work from home a couple days per week (after training and acclimation of the job/Provident Travel).

What you will be doing as a Travel Advisor:

• Consult and collaborate with customers while planning their travel needs, domestic and international, by phone or in person.

• Research destinations/tour programs to meet client desires and expectations.

• Design travel plans to meet the customer’s needs and recommends and sells the same, including air, car/hotel, cruises, tours, rail and independent travel.

• Recommend and sell travel related services.

• Operate applicable automated airline reservation and ticketing system.

• Comply with all ARC regulations and ACA policies and procedures in the collection and handling of assets.

• Satisfactorily handle refunds and complaints.

• Prepare all invoices, final itineraries and documents for distribution to clients

• Other duties as assigned.

What we need from you:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• 5 years of experience as a retail travel agent with an established book of business.

• Certified Travel Associate (CTA) or Certified Travel Counselor (CTC) designation strongly preferred.

• Ability to sell domestic and international leisure travel from airline tickets to full vacation packages.

• Demonstrate a passion for travel and deliver high touch customer service standards.

• Sales driven and goal oriented with the ability to work independently or in a team environment.

• Excellent verbal/written communication, time management and organizational skills.

• Detail oriented, ability to multi task and work under pressure.

• Working knowledge of Windows based computer applications and internet proficiency and ability to learn and use multiple programs/systems.

• Knowledge of Worldspan or similar GDS system.

• Expertise in sales and relationship building.
