Vice President of Quality Management (Hybrid) Job at Tandym Group

A healthcare network in New York City is actively seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to join their staff as their new Vice President of Quality Management. In this role, the Vice President of Quality Management will be responsible for overseeing the development of the Quality Management Program Description, annual work plan and evaluation.

***This is a Hybrid opportunity requiring the qualified professional to work onsite at least 2 days a week.***

Responsibilities:

The Vice President of Quality Management:
  • Actively participate in the Quality Assurance Performance Improvement Committee of the Board of Directors
  • Serve as a voting member of the Quality Management Committee, Utilization Management Subcommittee, Behavioral Health Joint Quality and UM Subcommittee, Appeals and Grievance Subcommittee, and Member Advisory Subcommittee
  • Oversee the interaction and reporting processes of the Quality Management Performance Improvement Committee of the Board of Directors and the Quality Management Committee and various QM Subcommittees
  • Work with the analytics department to work with community-based primary care practices to reduce nonusers and appropriate follow up of those with chronic conditions
  • Lead the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives and interventions and programs to address member needs, patient safety concerns and to improve the overall health of members
  • Lead the identification and alignment of quality measures selected for the programs with the regulatory quality incentive programs driving towards incentive maximization and continued improvement in member health outcomes
  • Interface with and represents the network to facilities, providers, vendors, associations, and regulatory entities
  • Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in a Senior-related Professional, Technical, and/or Management role
  • Master’s Degree in a Healthcare, Business or related field
  • Clinical license (RN, NP, MD, etc.)
  • Knowledge of and experience with Managed Care * Medical Care delivery systems,
  • Knowledge of HMO regulation, accreditation, and Quality Management processes
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly organized
Desired Skills:
  • 5+ years of Clinical experience
  • Managed Care background
