Our company is currently seeking a professional Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position will be responsible for providing medical care to our patients, and will handle administrative tasks including reporting animal data and maintenance of medical records. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of our patients and overseeing the medical staff as well as general office functions.

Responsibilities:

• Create pet care documentation and carry out treatment plans.
• Perform infection control procedures on pets and in the operating room.
• Clean and disinfect surgical instruments and equipment before, during, and after operations.
• Monitor pets during surgery to ensure health and safety, especially in anesthesia situations.
• Work with veterinarians to assist in surgery on animals.
• Maintain the cleanliness of animal enclosures, surgical areas, and other areas of the hospital.
• Keep accurate patient records at all times.
• Prepare animals for surgery; prepare surgical instruments; prepare cleaning and disinfectant solutions; set up operating room.
• Perform laboratory testing.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
