We are looking for an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in animal care and be knowledgeable in the latest veterinary practices. The Veterinary Technician will be responsible for providing medical care to animals, assisting veterinarians with exams and treatments, monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and providing support to pet owners. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist veterinarians in providing medical care to animals.
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian.
- Monitor patient's vital signs and document changes in patient's condition.
- Perform laboratory tests such as urinalysis, fecal exams, and blood tests.
- Assist in surgery preparation and recovery.
- Provide compassionate care to animals in need.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
