Veterinary Technician Job at Berkley Pet Hospital
We are an animal hospital located in North Hollywood. We offer high-quality care in both Western and Holistic Medicine. We are running on Avimark and offer services from Digital x-rays to ultrasounds and acupuncture. We are currently accepting applications for a full-time, Registered Veterinary Technician. Must be dependable, self-motivated, energetic, and a team player. All applicants must be available to work on weekends. Must be skilled in applying an IV catheter, inducing patients, performing dental, shooting x-rays...etc.
· Skills required:
- Small animal restraint and handling
- Basic and advanced nursing care
- Venipuncture and IV catheterization must be mastered
- Basic radiography
- Lab sample handling and running in-house lab equipment
- Anesthesia monitoring, and troubleshooting
- General knowledge of veterinary medicine (including basic knowledge of emergency medicine and procedures).
- Team player
· RVT certification (Preferred)
· 1 Year experience (Required)
· US work authorization (Required)
· High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
