Key Duties

• Diagnosing skin conditions: A veterinary dermatologist is responsible for diagnosing skin conditions in animals, which includes examining the animal, conducting tests and interpreting results
• Creating treatment plans: Once a skin condition has been diagnosed, a veterinary dermatologist will work with the animal's owner to create a treatment plan that is tailored to the animal's specific needs. This may involve medication, surgery, or a combination of both
