VEHICLE DETAILING TECHNICIAN

Michigan VTS Garage seeking experienced vehicle detailing technician for full-time, contracted position. This position is limited to 832 hours per fiscal year (approximately 21 weeks).

Pay: $20 / hr

Hours: Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm

JOB DUTIES

• Detailing vehicle interiors/exteriors
• Fueling vehicles
• Moving vehicles around the premises
• Transporting vehicles to/from vendors or customers
• Removing decals and equipment
• Delivering parts to mechanics in garage area
• cleaning garage area of trash and recycled materials
• Functions as an experienced laborer in this position

REQUIREMENTS:

• Requires valid Driver's License
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen
• Ability to lift 60 lbs
• Ability to work in an environment with exposure to cleaning chemicals, vehicle exhaust and dust

Ideal candidates would be mechanically inclined and have worked with vehicles in the past. Experience in auto electrical systems (i.e. car stereo), hand/air tools, vacuum high pressure washers preferred.
