UX Digital Designer Job at Rooms To Go
UX Digital Designer Our Digital Marketing team is looking for a UX Designer. We are seeking an individual with passion and skill for creating great customer experiences. We're looking for someone able to multi-task and manage multiple timelines. This person performs tasks effectively, develops collaborative relationships with team members, displays clear communication and acts proactively and professionally. You will report to the Manager of User Experience, who supports user experience for web & mobile app.
Responsibilities:
- Leverage a human-centered design process to deliver an easy-to-use user experience and user interface
- Research customers, competitors, and products
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mock-ups
- Design for accessibility standards
- Clearly explain your decisions and perspective
- Support the digital marketing team in both short-term and long-term projects leveraging UX best practices and consumer insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members, including Operations, Product Management, Creative Design, Content Analytics, and Digital Marketing Technology
- Continuously bring creative and practical ideas to the table to improve overall customer experience
- At least three (3) years in user experience design with focus on responsive web design or mobile apps. Experience in both a plus
- Proficient in Figma and prototyping tools
- Additional experience Sketch, Invision, XD, Adobe Suite
- Demonstrated experience with wireframing and prototyping
- Experience with user research, heuristic evaluations, and user journeys
- Previous experience using a design system with components in Figma
- Understanding of patterns, best practices, and design standards across iOS and Web
- Retail and/or Ecommerce experience preferred.
- Creative mindset with high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must be a team player with a strong work ethic. Works well with others.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where path is not always linear.
- Flexible under time requirements and changing deadlines.
- Strong commitment to prioritization of timelines, accuracy, organization, and professionalism.
- Dedicated commitment to deliver on all project deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and accomplish tasks with minimal oversight.
- Note: Role is 80% onsite. (Aka 4 days a week in the office. 1 day remote.)
