Job Description

Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist - General Ab/Ob Small Parts

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures on patients in an accurate and timely manner. The successful candidate will be responsible for capturing high-quality images and interpreting results, generating reports and communicating with physicians as required. You will provide excellent customer service to patients before, during and after each procedure.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Conduct diagnostic ultrasonography procedures in line with medical protocols and standards, including abdominal, obstetrical, gynecological, and small parts exams.
• Review patient medical records and clinical information to accurately plan examinations.
• Effectively communicate with patients, answer their questions and provide comfort during the examination.
• Produce accurate reports and perform data entry tasks by utilizing the appropriate computer software.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Completion of an accredited ultrasound technology program.
• ARDMS registered as a (RDMS) or (RVT) or (RDCS) or documented eligibility to participate in the certification process.
• Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in diagnostic medical sonography preferred.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize responsibilities, and work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
