We are looking for a Parts Counter Associate to join our team in New Stanton, PA. Monday thru Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with rotating Saturdays.

We seek applicants with five years or more working experience as a diesel technician or in a heavy duty truck parts department. Candidates with a similar amount of working experience as an automobile mechanic or in an auto parts store/department also welcome to apply.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Respond to customer inquiries and needs for parts in person and by telephone which includes providing quotes/estimates of the cost.

• Possess knowledge of products, services, and parts. Quickly learn new products and promotions.

• Complete necessary paperwork for each transaction in an accurate, timely manner.

• Process credits, make adjustments, and monitor for restocking charges on all parts sales completed.

Qualifications:

• One year of parts counter sales experience included in the 5 years of experience with heavy duty diesel engine/truck trailer parts required.

• Excellent customer service and strong communication skills.

• Requires frequent sitting, standing, walking, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

• Must be familiar with using a PC to select parts and provide price quotes to customer.

• Must be able to pass a criminal background check, driving record check, and drug screen.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
