We're a 75-year old, family-owned company looking to add qualified Class-A CDL drivers to our growing team. Our drivers deliver groceries to convenience stores and provide great customer service at the time of delivery. Most routes are Monday-Friday and are home each day.

Qualifications :

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Ability to frequently lift and or move up to 40 pounds
• Driver must handle the two-wheeler on the ramp and may be required to pull uneven surfaces when wheeling the groceries into the store
• Must be able to pull out and replace ramp at each stop - approximately 100 pounds
• While performing the duties of this job, employee is exposed to varied weather conditions
• Must be available for unscheduled duty and overnight travel

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Must maintain a professional attitude and deliver excellent customer service
• Perform pre-trip inspection
• Drive truck to the designated stop and make deliveries to customers in a safe and efficient manner
• Unload case groceries and totes filled with product by using a two-wheeler and ramp
• Requires climbing into the refrigerated section of the trailer to retrieve cooler/freezer items for the delivery
• Load the two-wheeler and take product into the store to a pre-determined area
• Pick up returns at the store that are to be returned to the warehouse
• Required to unload any damaged or returned items on return to the warehouse
• Deliveries require extensive paperwork including driver logs
• Requires city and rural driving and maneuvering in small parking lots
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule
• May require being gone from home two to three nights per week
• Required to attend regular safety meetings and other events as scheduled

• Routes may hold up to 30,000 lbs of product and require on average 15 stops per route. Unloading at stops is performed using 2-wheelers stacked by hand and walked up/down ramps. Are you able to perform these functions safely and to completion on a recurring basis?
