Work is seasonal, so you will earn that salary between mid-March and mid-December. YOUR LIFE AS A ROAD CONSTRUCTION / ASPHALT DISTRIBUTOR TRUCK DRIVER

This full-time seasonal Class B CDL truck driving and asphalt paving position offers two different schedule options. One being a daytime only position, working 40-50 hours per week, and the other being a daytime and nighttime (and potential overtime) position working 50-60 hours per week. Pay will vary based on the weekly hours.

As a Road Construction / Asphalt Distributor Truck Driver, your efforts play an essential role in the quality road construction we're famous for! Company-provided training has equipped you with the skills you need to competently drive an asphalt distributor truck. You're glad you work for a business that invests in high-quality computerized equipment, allowing you to precisely control the application rate of asphalt tack coat. You take pride in keeping your truck clean and in good repair.

Drawing on your knowledge of various oils and their recommended heating temperatures, you perform your job safely and avoid incidents. Attentive to detail, you comply with all regulations as you work alongside asphalt paving crews, spraying emulsion on highways and parking lots. You enjoy being part of a team that has a family-like atmosphere, and you love seeing the "before" and "after" results of your road construction efforts! Our current drivers have decades of experience and are eager to train you for success!

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

• Class A or Class B CDL driver's license with tanker endorsement and a good driving record
• 1+ years of truck driving experience with a manual shift vehicle
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job such as climbing, bending, working in extreme weather, and lifting items up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work day shift or night shift
• Basic math skills
• Willingness to comply with our company policy regarding drug screening

A high school diploma OR equivalent is preferred but not required. If you have your Class B CDL, we will train you to drive an asphalt paving truck! If you can meet these requirements and perform this seasonal Class B CDL job as described above, we would be happy to have you as part of our truck driving team!
