Freedom Behavioral Hospital of Plainview,Texas is a 20 bed, acute geriatric psych facility located in Plainview,Texas. We are looking for an experienced Transportation Driver to serve at our outpatient IOP located in New Deal, TX. Strong preference given to previous geriatric psych experience. Teamwork, team development and team training are all key qualities for this position.

Freedom Behavioral Hospital of Plainview is interviewing for a Driver position. Qualified candidates may also provide assistance in patient care and provide mental health services for patient care activities.

Coordinates safe transportation of patients to and from their residences/appointments as well as meal pick up. Also provides assistance to mental health services staff for patient care activities. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the transporting of patients to and from the facility site, assistance in the overall day-to-day functioning of the program including aiding other staff in patient chart production, meal provision, answering telephones and supervision of patients during staff break periods. The Driver is responsible for communicating to staff any problematic or clinical issues that occur during his/her supervision of or transportation of patients.
