Position Summary:

The Class A delivery driver will ensure Northgate Markets are provided timely, accurately selected food products. The delivery driver will carry a valid Class ‘A’ license. This position requires the safe operation of Northgate fleet equipment. This position requires DOT compliance. Delivery drivers may be certified and should be capable to safely operate material handling equipment. This position requires the ability to safely perform work of physical nature. This position may require lifting cases, bags, boxes and pallets of varying weight from floor level to chest level. This position works in a fast paced environment. The delivery driver will be detail oriented, urgently seeking to provide Northgate customers with excellent service.

Essential Job Functions

  • Driving fleet equipment including pre and post trip equipment inspection.

  • DOT compliance.

  • Delivery accuracy & auditing.

  • Obeying and following applicable traffic laws
  • Communicating and coordinating with dispatchers
  • Long-distance driving
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Job Specifications

Education/Training:


Valid Class ‘A’ License with driver qualification file. (No restrictions)
