Responsibilities:

Summary: This associate will primarily provide support to the orientation department by performing the following duties:


Essential Duties and Responsibilities
include the following:

    • Coordinate and facilitate training of PSD students.

    • Student/Instructor assignments using current matching process.

    • Continual open communication with Operations, Recruiting, Safety, and Orientation departments.

    • Monitoring and scheduling PSD training and CDL testing times
    • Assisting CDL examiners with CSTIMS, AS400 test scheduling and data entry.
    • Auditing CDL testing paperwork for errors/omissions.
    • Monitoring pad and equipment reservations.

    • Instruction and leading tours and other activities.

    • Communicating Prime culture to all training associates, leading by example.
    • Data entry to include weekly adjustment to PSD/instructor/trainee/trainer pay.
    • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

Any combination of education, training, and experience providing the following knowledge, skills, and abilities.


Knowledge

Basic knowledge of trucking/transportation industry preferred, but not required. Prior customer service experience preferred.


Abilities

Strong organizational, computer, and customer service skills required. Accurate typing with a minimum 40 WPM. Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word. Multitasking and a flexible schedule required.


Experience, Education, and Training

Four year college degree in a business related field or at least one year in a customer service environment preferred.


Physical Requirements

Must be able to sit for a large portion of the day.


Working Environment

Primarily indoors with heating and cooling regulated in a general office environment. Surroundings can be noisy at times.

None Required.
