Overview:
As a Traffic Control Operator, you will be responsible for coordinating with Project Managers to assist with scheduling and implementing traffic control plans for projects. This role will be responsible for the maintenance of traffic control plans on roads, highways, and interstates in public and residential areas.

Our Crossbore Team offers -Full Service crossbore inspection and location of all storm and sanitary lines, Industry leading lateral launch inspection equipment, 100% of footage is reviewed by offsite auditors, Legacy Cross Bore Inspection, Pre & Post Video Inspection, and Municipal Inspection.
Responsibilities:
  • Set out Cones, Warning Signs and Barricades
  • Direct traffic around the construction sites
  • Communicating with motorists regarding any detours or traffic related information
  • Set up and maintain traffic control closures for crews
  • Other related duties and projects as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Some travel within the state may be required—This will include having several work locations based on jobsites.
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent GED
  • Excellent work ethic.
  • Must have good communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to work safely, with or without supervision.
  • Knowledge of OSHA Safety Procedures preferred

Physical Requirements

  • Work is done frequently outdoors in weather conditions that vary from below freezing temperatures to heat above 90 degrees, in wet and dry conditions and in rural areas.
  • Work is heavy and requires exertion of up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Lifting and carrying of 10 to 50 pounds frequently is required. Reaching and lifting overhead is frequent.
  • May spend long periods of time driving and/or riding in line construction vehicles to reach remote areas of the service territory.

Pay- $ 18 - $ 24 /Hourly*Dependent upon Experience Level
