Bearon Manufacturing is looking for a 2nd shift Tool Room Attendant to join our team in Landisville, PA! The right candidate will perform a variety of tool crib ordering, receiving, storage and distribution operations within the production facility. Responsibilities:

  • Maintain various storage lists, files and logs pertaining to the control of tooling for the manufacturing department using ERP software.
  • Check tool availability and inform of possible schedules delays.
  • Obtain delivery dates from departments and vendors and follow up all items to expedite priorities and preclude shortages.
  • Perform all duties necessary to order, receive, visually check, store, preserve, issue and inventory all company owned tools, dies, fixtures, perishable tools and expendable shop supplies contained in assigned crib or section.
  • Investigate and resolve problems affecting tool crib activities.
  • Manage the flow of tools being sent out for re-grinding.
  • Knowledge of Preventative maintenance for shop equipment (air compressors, power tools, CNC machines)

Competencies:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team environment.

Experience

Experience in Quality Inspection, Gaging, and Tool Room Inventory Control
