TITLE: 3 Teacher(s) - Title I/EL Tutoring for Grade K-8: ELA & MATH for Indiana Horizon Academy Students
FILING DEADLINE: Thursday, May 18th, 2023 @ 3:00pm
REPORTS TO: Deborah Van Slyke, Director of Federal Programs
JOB GOAL: Provide meaningful instruction to identified Indiana Horizon Academy EL and Title I students through tutoring in English and Math.
TIME FRAME: 3 days per week, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
3.5 Hours per day - 8:15-11:45 (student day is 8:30-11:30)
4 Weeks
Beginning June 20, 2023 (no summer school week of June 27, or July 4); closes July 27
COMPENSATION: $50.00 /hour
Qualifications:
1. Valid Indiana teaching license
2. Background of successful teaching experience
3. Proven reliability, good organization skills, and ability to work well with students, parents & staff
Responsibilities:
1. Prepare English and Math curriculum to conduct tutoring sessions
2. Complete necessary records documenting student attendance and instruction
3. Submit account payable voucher and required documentation in a timely manner
