Job Responsibilities:

  • Investigates and corrects errors, following customer and company records. Resolve customer complaints concerning billing or services rendered. Partner with internal customers, such as CCO to address billing concerns. Correct billing corrections and rendering new bill statements, resulting from meter reading errors, meter malfunctions, and input error.
  • This position is responsible for the daily processing of all client mail-in customer payments. Effectively handles all functions associated with the processing of these payments to ensure prompt and accurate posting to customer accounts, and to ensure company funds are deposited timely and accurately. Mail preparation and Mail extraction performed to enhance the speed of opening extracting envelope contents. Accurately sort mail according to remittance type such as residential, commercial and delinquent. Prepare for Image processing. Exception Process & Research.
  • The incumbent maintains a required level of expertise in the systems required, and uses this knowledge to ensure timely and accurate billing, payment processing and collections.
  • Resolves billing, accounts receivable, or payment exceptions for routine, non-complex account scenarios.
  • Resolves usage, billing issues and other situations that will prevent an accurate bill from being rendered
  • Resolves pre-bill and post-bill exception/problems that prevent accounts from billing for basic residential and small C&I rate schedules.
  • Responds to and resolves customer inquiries and complaints.

Job Requirements:

  • As a Invoicing Specialist you must represent our company well by being responsible, punctual and motivated to go above and beyond the call of duty. You must also be highly detail-oriented and organized with excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years directly related work experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Knowledge of Business Unit Operations

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
