Tire Mounting Technician Job at Yokohama Off-Highway Tires America, Inc.
We are looking for a very qualified Tire Mounting Technician to work the production line of our tire mounting operation for our Original Equipment customers. We are a fast-growing, global company with a range of established off-highway tire brands. With large OE’s increasingly seeking full wheel and tire assemblies, the mounting business is a strategic capability that is critical for us to continue to grow. As such, we are seeking a highly motivated individual with significant experience in off-highway tire mounting operations to join our Houston Warehouse Facility.
Location: 4851 S. Sam Houston Parkway E, Houston, TX 77048
The Tire Mounting Technician will report to the Operations Coordinator and will require a diverse skill set, including:
- Accurately picking parts
- Mounting tires to rims
- Inflating tires
- Stacking tires
- Packaging orders
- Shipping orders
- Unloading trucks
- Inspecting tires
- Forklift operation
- Other duties as assigned
* Some of the larger tire and wheel assemblies weigh up to 300 lbs.
Requirements
· experience in a tire mounting operation (Off-Highway or OTR experience) preferred
· Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
· Ability to lift, stoop, bend, and push up to 150 lbs for long periods of time repeatedly.
· Minimum High School Diploma/GED Required
Pay range: $16-18/hour depending on experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
