We are looking for a Therapy Program Manager (Clinic Based) to work at our Columbus Pediatric location. This opportunity is full-time salary.

Our Program Manager assists with program development, budgeting, planning, and coordinating the implementation of comprehensive programs for individuals with exceptional needs and their families in schools and clinical settings. The Program Manager will oversee and support program providers/staff in program activities and the business development within the assigned clinic and school-based services. This support allows our providers to excel and develop in their area of expertise and our students/clients to be empowered to be able to develop skills to be contributing members of society.

You will need the following minimum qualifications to be considered:

  • Master's degree in Special Education, Occupational Therapist, SLP, or Clinical/School Psychology.
  • 3-5 years of providing direct services to clients as a SLP,PT,OT,IS, or PSYCH
  • 3-5 years management/supervisory experience in positions.
  • successful experience in compliance monitoring of state, federal, and county regulations, and peer reviews regarding the specific populations of clients/students served.
  • access to reliable transportation and the ability to travel to more than one site on any given day
  • hold appropriate automobile insurance with limits that allow driving a personal vehicle for work (25/50k liability coverage)
  • must clear a current background check through the BCI/FBI
  • Covid Vaccine Requirement
  • a current TB Test (within the last 6 months).

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Education related field and appropriate credential/certification/license for assigned program
  • 5-10 years of experience in management/supervisory experience in positions of increasing responsibility
  • Experience building relationships with local partners, such as county boards of developmental disabilities, children’s hospitals, and other pediatric service providers.
  • Knowledge of and experience with guiding the clinical practice and billing regulations in a multidisciplinary setting, including Speech, Occupational, Physical Therapies, Applied Behavior Analysis, and Clinical Psychology.

As a Associate Director at TES you will:

  • identify, train, support, and coach school-based special education teachers, teacher assistants, teacher aides, and related services personnel in the areas of special education and at-risk services.
  • Maintains regular and effective written and oral communications with contracted agencies to ensure and maintain proper marketing and referral sources for the program.
  • Directs and coordinates admissions, including intake evaluations, and discharges in conjunction with program staff and referring agencies.
  • Ensures effective teamwork, communication, and collaboration among the department’s professional and support staff by holding frequent meetings, conducting observations, and providing formal and informal feedback to staff.
  • Coordinates with the Managing Director and CFO to help develop and formulate departmental budgets for submission to the non-profit agency's Board of Directors for review and approval; provides ongoing monitoring and review of the monthly financial versus budget reports and proposes cost controls and revisions as needed.
  • Reviews and manages enrollment/attendance of clients and staff to ensure the program meets targeted goals. Develops action plans and strategies to effectively improve attendance, productivity, and enrollment and reports result in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Supports the development of the school-wide mission and vision and takes an active role in supporting staff to achieve program and institute key goals.
  • Serves as a liaison to and maintains effective communication between IRL and various public and private agencies including School Districts, Regional Centers, the Department of Rehabilitation, Department of Mental Health, the Department of Social Services, and the County and State Probation Departments as well as with local business and community leaders.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned

Environment & Physical Qualifications: Assigned work environments vary from site to site and may require services to be provided in a distance learning / therapy model. The work environment is usually comprised of several adults and children in a classroom, clinic, or campus facility with supervisors traveling to multiple sites/clinics. Due to varied work environments, an employee may encounter noise levels that are moderate to loud. In addition, the job functions could include the following physical demands: significant lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling.
