Essential Functions of the position are detailed below, and include any physical requirements below that.

1. Provides support for the Human Resources Department by handling a wide array of clerical and administrative tasks to ensure compliance with agency/programmatic policies and procedures, professional standards, and external requirements of all relevant regulatory, licensing or accrediting bodies;
2. Responsible for ensuring all new hire paperwork has been submitted to Human Resources and follows up when needed;
3. Provide for the timely processing of check requests and credit card expense reports, as directed by Supervisor and keeps an accurate inventory of program supplies and equipment, and places orders, when needed;
4. Responsible for distributing incoming mail to the appropriate departmental personnel and for preparing outgoing mail, as directed;
5.Works collaboratively, cooperatively and professionally with other Agency staff to respond to any basic HR inquiries received either through the HR Helpdesk, mail, phone or email and handles such matters with confidentiality, sensitivity and expedience;
6. Maintains up-to-date and accurate departmental paper and digital files, calendars and databases, as required by agency/programmatic policies and procedures, professional standards, and external requirements of all relevant regulatory, licensing or accrediting bodies;
7. Coordinates and attends Benefit Committee meetings on a quarterly basis or as needed to take and distribute meeting minutes and other communication, as directed by the HR Director;
8. Assists with the auditing process by preparing and gathering all needed HR documents for any agency program, as needed;
9. Sends out monthly exit surveys, drivers license and car insurance alerts and follows up as necessary;
10. Works on special projects, as assigned.

Relevant Education:
Preferred: Associate's Degree

Minimum: High School

Relevant Experience:
Preferred: 3-5 years Must have excellent organizational and computer skills and must have experience working in fast-paced environment. Experience working in Human Resources, preferred.
