A family in Stow, MA is hiring a reliable and experienced temporary nanny for their newborn from March to August. The position is full-time hours M-F from April 17 through August. You will be responsible for all aspects of newborn care including bottling, naps, daily walks, along with regular diaper changes and developmentally-appropriate play. The family also has a 1.7 year old daughter that will be in daycare during the day.

Outdoor walks, reading together, listening to music, motor skill and language development activities are all welcomed. Their ideal caregiver is reliable, thoughtful, kind, energetic, and proactive.

Household responsibilities: help cleaning bottles, tidying up after the newborn, and researching educational and fun activities.

Driving responsibilities: none

Pets: none

Both parents are vaccinated and carefully following CDC guidelines. They ask that nanny candidates are also vaccinated.

Location: Stow, MA

Schedule: From March 6th-April 14th the hours will be M/W/F from 7am-3pm. From April 17th-August 11th the schedule will be Monday-Friday from 7am-3pm.

Pay Range: $21-23

You Are:

• Responsible, proactive, caring, and energetic!
• Fully engaged with their son; outgoing and enjoy caring for newborns as they grow into toddlerhood and beyond
• Communicative and enjoy caring for children while working towards their developmental milestones through play
• Available Monday-Friday from 7am-3pm
• Vaccinated and practicing applicable CDC guidelines for social distancing (family is doing the same)
• Willing and able to pass a background check
• At least 18 years old and eligible to work in the United States

You Have:

• A minimum of 2 years of childcare experience with newborns
• Ability to communicate and demonstrate safe sleep practices, age-appropriate play, and routines for toddlers
• Some experience with managing household responsibilities (light tidying of play spaces, meal prep for child's lunch, and child's laundry)
• CPR Certification (or are willing to take a CPR course that we pay for)
• Reliable personal transportation to drive yourself to/from their home for work.
