Summary/Objective
Five Stones Research Corporation (5SRC) is seeking energetic candidates to join our established and growing Huntsville-headquartered family.

Essential Functions

  • Apply Army Regulations (ARs) governing supply and logistics management, including but not limited to: AR 710-2, Supply Policy Below the National Level; AR 735-5, Property Accountability Policies; Property Accountability Management Standing Operating Procedure; and, Inventory Management – Command Supply Discipline Program Standing Operating Procedure.
  • Receive, inspect material condition, store, catalog, inventory, issue, deliver, accept turn-in and arrange appropriate disposition, prepare and execute transfers; manage material condition maintenance of equipment and vehicles; prepare or use all required documentation; and, maintain accurate property accountability records, information technology (IT)-based and hard-copy.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records using IT-based property accountability systems including Global Combat Support System – Army (GCSS-A), Army Enterprise Systems Integration Program.
  • (AESIP), Auto Scan Tracking System (ASTS®), and organizational property systems, document registers, and document files.
    Perform audits and inventories, regularly scheduled and unscheduled as may be necessary.
  • Routinely coordinate with Property Book Officer (PBO) for Supply Support Activity (SSA) transactions.
  • Prepare reports, periodic and special for: intra-division use; Center Support Directorate, Logistics Division (S-4); and, higher echelon or external organizations.
    Prepare Department of Defense (DD) Form 200, Financial Liability Investigation of Property Loss
  • (FLIPL) for the loss, damage, or destruction of DoD-controlled property.
    Communicate effectively and efficiently to facilitate timely supply and maintenance support, problems resolution, and satisfaction of information needs of others.

Required Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Four years of experience in unit supply operations, large inventory maintenance, property management and administration, and Army equipment calibration.
  • Knowledgeable about inventory management, shipping, receiving, transportation, storage, turn-in, property accountability, and supply procedures and regulations.
  • Knowledgeable in applying: AR 710-2, Supply Policy Below the National Level; AR 735-5, Property Accountability Policies
  • Experience using Global Combat Support System – Army (GCSS-A).
  • Experience using Army Enterprise Systems Integration Program (AESIP).
  • Knowledge of the Army’s calibration management system.

Preferred Education & Experience

  • Prior service in, or supporting a branch of the military specifically in supply management.

Experience

Required
  • Interacting with engineers from multiple engineering disciplines
  • Basic understanding of engineering terminology
  • 5 - 7 years: Technical report writing and editing
