Technical Trainer

Title of Position: Technical Trainer

Job Type: Full-Time

Location: Remote (preferred time zones EST or CST time zone; preferred locations Massachusetts & Tampa, Florida)

Hours: Work hours are normal business hours, Monday through Friday, eastern time zone. There will be occasional remote staff support needed on weekday evenings. There will be occasional travel.

Position Summary:

As a Technical Trainer, you will work with a small, passionate team that builds and maintains web technology to support our staff and constituents. Using the latest version of Davinci Resolve, you will build and maintain in-depth instructional training videos that teach users how to effectively engage with our programming and technology.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Become a domain expert with our web application and all of its features.
• Build and maintain an evolving catalog of instructional videos.
• Provide technical support and systematize common themes into video-based support.
• Assist in the testing of new and updated features of our web application.

• Fluency in both Spanish and English and ability to translate effectively between the two languages.
• Natural propensity and comfortability using the software.
• Adept at learning new technology.
• Ability to empathetically and creatively teach complex concepts.
• Strong organizational skills, including managing multiple work streams and a large catalog of content.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Expertise with Davinci Resolve
• Teaching experience
