**Although there is a work-from-home component to this position, employees are required to work "in house" for their first 90 days. Once completed, employees will have the option to work from home. Candidates must reside in Pennsylvania and live within a 50-mile radius of our base office in Palmerton and have a High Speed Data Connection with a Minimum of 100 Mbps and a quiet dedicated office space.
General duties include:
- Troubleshooting dial up, DSL and cable support calls through a variety of operating systems
- Routing calls and tickets to other departments
- Maintaining appropriate records of customer calls and problems in our database
- Making outgoing courtesy calls to ensure customer satisfaction
- Performing special project work as assigned by the manager
Qualifications:
- H.S. Diploma or G.E.D.
- Experience with most Windows operating systems
- Networking Skills recommended
- Experience with Macintosh products recommended
- Prior experience troubleshooting technical problems recommended
- Prior experience dealing with the public recommended
- Working Knowledge of Microsoft products
- Basic understanding of Internet related software
- Typing / Data Entry Skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong communication Skills - oral and written
- Excellent Customer Service and Phone Skills
- Excellent Problem Solving / Troubleshooting Skills
- Ability to interact with customers daily
- Ability to work as a team
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
- Ability to adapt to change and the changing needs of the company
