Overview:
LMI is seeking a Technical Integration Architect to support activities related to ERP modernization as part of a larger Army ERP transition and convergence program, Enterprise Business System – Convergence (EBS-C). They will work closely with system engineers and technical counterparts on current ERP systems to support large scale data mapping and workflow integration across the program. They will support translation of requirements into acquisition documents, help technical staff understand requirements, support business process reengineering workshops, and review the developed system to confirm requirements were met.

Note: Telework is acceptable under current government directed COVID measures. Upon amendment of those measures, liberal telework or a remote location will be acceptable with occasional requirements to travel to client offices at Fort Belvoir, Virginia and other Army locations.
Responsibilities:
  • Work with the solution architects that are supporting business process reengineering (BPR) to gain understanding of the to-be business process workflows and harmonize those processes across the business systems.
  • Review and assess system integrator proposals for integrating on premise cloud-native solutions and Software as a Service (SaaS) in a commercial enclave.
  • Identification of Enablers (per the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)) which bring visibility to all the architectural work necessary to support efficient development and delivery of future business requirements.
  • Analyze process integration and orchestration requirements of proposed solutions to improve the exchange of information between EBS-C solution components and affected trading partner systems.
  • Support seamless integration, automation, and optimization of business processes between SAP and non-SAP applications within the organization.
  • Develop a bridging strategy for data integration and workflows across systems during the transition to EBS-C.
  • Identify and document technical requirements which will be provided to a system integration contractor i.e., developer.
  • Support the development of key acquisition and contracting documents to develop the EBS-C solutions (e.g., Performance Work Statement, Statement of Objectives, Statement of Work).
  • Support Acquisition activities; including, market research, evaluations of whitepapers and demonstrations, prototype development, DevSecOps implementation, Agile Development methods.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert to guide and integrate diverse stakeholder requirements into a holistic technical requirement.
  • Validate and verify technical solutions recommended and implemented by the system integrator.
  • Provide feedback to data architecture resources to ensure integrity and consistency between application best practices and enterprise data models.
  • Work with solution architects, functional and programmatic offices, system integrators, and stakeholders to communicate and advocate for proper understanding of requirements and prototype solutions.
  • Perform validation of system integrator configuration of EBS-C solution to safeguard and minimize against customizations of core SAP products.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Experience with agile methods
  • Experience with Defense Business Systems or ERP software/system development projects
  • 3+ years of experience with integration platforms
  • NetWeaver certification
  • SAP Certified Solution Architect with over 10 years of IT experience, specializing in design, implementation and support of SAP HANA, SAP NetWeaver Business Intelligence (BI), Business Warehouse, (BW), Business Objects, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Enterprise Application Integration (EAI)
  • Expertise in one or more of the following areas:
    • SAP ECC technical experience
    • NetWeaver portal / supplier relationship management (SRM)
    • SAP BASIS and support services
    • HANA database
  • Experience with complex problem-solving strategies. Able to determine the source of a problem and find effective solution(s) through an in-depth evaluation of varying factors. Strong capacity for abstract reasoning and creative visioning.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams; experience with working complex projects remotely is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, presentation and writing skills to successfully interact with colleagues and executive client leadership
  • Ability to work independently and deliver high quality work under time constraints
