The McGregor Company serves growers in Washington, Idaho and Oregon with the seed, crop inputs, equipment, research and advice needed to raise healthy, sustainable crops.

We are looking for an individual who has a clean driving record, basic mechanical and math skills, plus an ability and desire to learn about serving farm customers that grow the superior crops this region is known for.

For the right candidate, assistance is available for acquiring proper licensing and required skills.

Purpose of Position:

Provide service, products and equipment to customers in a professional, timely and responsive manner at our Condon, Oregon location.

Essential Functions: (day to day, must haves)

· Accurate and timely completion of paperwork and reporting for inventory control, DOT, and safety compliance.

· Product handling including loading, unloading and delivery of product

· Responsible for knowledge of, and adherence to, policies and procedures in the employee handbook and requirements of supervisors.

· Maintain safety procedures and consistently use required safety equipment

· Monthly accounting for inventory and other payable transactions

Other Functions and Occasional Requirements:

· Be flexible with work hour demands during busy seasons or as needed, including overtime and weekends.

· Accept out of area assignments including extended stays.

Qualifications:

Education: (Degrees, Certifications, Licenses, etc.)

· Preferred CDL Class A driver’s license with Tank and Hazmat endorsement (current or able to obtain within an established time frame - this is only required if doing deliveries)

· College studies in agriculture related discipline a plus but not required.

Knowledge: (Competencies, Equipment, Systems)

· Agricultural equipment, including pumping machinery, fertilizer & chemical mixes (preferred)

· Mechanical aptitude for equipment (preferred)

· Basic math & computer skills

· Hourly position w/ overtime in season – Starting wage DOE

Requirements/Skills:

· State Pesticide Operator license or ability to obtain within a specified time frame

· Full time positions may include overtime hours during peak seasons

· Basic mechanical skills

· Basic math & computer skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
