CMA, LPN, RMA, Integrative Medicine Team Member

Seeking efficient energetic CMAs, LPNs, and RMAs, who will eagerly advance the practice mission and vision through all appropriate avenues. By using all available avenues, this will allow the new member to be quite effective. New team members will attract consistent practice members. New practice members are the �blood� of the practice. Highly successful team members have a track record of attracting new appropriate practice members. Successful team members help new practice team members fully understand the value of their future care.

Your character, skills, education, and experiences are all KEY to the healthy �pulse� of the practice. The thriving health of a practice does NOT REST ONLY on the medical provider(s); but, on ALL of its team members. All team members are vital to the practice. Medical provider(s) cannot offer the highest level of care to practice members without the assistance of very productive team members.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Advance the practice mission and vision:
III John 1:2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
Clinical Duties:
Assist with fluoroscopic and/OR ultrasound guided spine and joint orthobiologic procedures
Be comfortable with running the fluoroscopy (c-arm) machine
Use the autoclave for sterilization of RFA probes
Recover practice members in the recovery room, following spine and intra-articular (IA) hip joint injection therapies
Draw up medications for trigger point, IA, IM, and SQ injections.
Perform urine drug screen testing. (Extremely rare now)
Venipuncture for orthobiologic procedures
Assist with bone marrow orthobiologic procedures.
Assist with lipoaspiration orthobiologic procedures
Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) procedure assistance
Obtain vital signs, and other pertinent EMR chart information on scheduled established and new practice members.

Administrative Duties:
Daily stay on top of practice member messages in the Message Center portion of the EMR, as well as through the intra-office email system. Examples: request for non-opioid medication refills, scheduling imaging studies and/or blood work results reviews, etc. This also includes DAILY staying on top of the medical provider(s) for prompt answers to practice members� correspondence. YOU are the medical provider(s)� quality control gauge. You will NOT be bugging the medical provider(s), but will be keeping them honest, and from falling behind with outstanding practice members� tasks. Medical provider(s) greatly appreciate YOU making sure that all pertinent practice members� messages have been addressed before leaving the clinic the same day.
Promptly document all correspondence (�If it wasn�t documented, it wasn�t done.�) in the EMR. This includes taking screenshots from the info account, Control C &V into the practice member�s chart, etc.
Perform prior authorizations for insurance �covered� imaging studies. MRIs, CTs, and ultrasounds are the most common studies.
Perform RARE prior authorizations for medications (Example: Cover My Meds)
Closely monitor procedure room, recovery room, infusion room, and exam room inventories. Keep these areas tidy at all times.
Respond quickly to potential new practice member referrals. These are received usually via the general �info� email account, which is linked to the current practice website. Practice member referrals will also come from respective marketing partners, such as Big Boost Marketing, SRP Medical Marketing, and Easy Webinar.
Fax records to approved entities.

Education:
Active CMA, LPN, or RMA certification
Venipuncture for orthobiologic treatments.
Active BLS certification

Experience Pluses:
Speaks Spanish
Comfortable with running a fluoroscopy (c-arm) machine.
Sales background
Savvy with social media platforms.
IV placement skills (Must have ACLS active certification to place IVs.)

General Information:
Office hours 730AM to 4PM
Closed noon to 1230PM for lunch.
NO weekend hours.
Greensboro office: 16-20 hours/week to START 2 days/week. Transition to FT hours 32-34 hours/week 4 days/week.
Opportunity to work at the tentative summer satellite location. Logistics are currently underway for this satellite site to be ready for seeing new practice members in June 2023.
