Job Description

Computer World Services, Corporation (CWS) is seeking an exceptional candidate to serve as Team Leader – Identity & Access Management for the NIH IT CSPSS customer service Portfolio that consists of a full range of NIH IT Service Desk and Desktop Support services, IT Training, and related resource services. The NIH IT Service Desk provides technical support to the NIH community via the World Wide Web and phone. The Service Desk receives over a thousand requests for service every business day.

Where issues cannot be resolved in-house, they are assigned to support staff in each of NIH’s ICs. Support cases are assigned and resolved using the NIH IT Service Desk IT Service Management System (ITSM), supported by the CIT Business Application Services (BAS) and the Service Desk’s Automated Call Distribution System administered by CIT Unified Connectivity and Communication (UCC) service area.

The candidate will be responsible for Enterprise Identity and Access Management services of the NIH IT CSPSS customer service portfolio comprised of IT Service Desk and Desktop Support Services.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for representing the Helpdesk in project related meetings.
  • Ensure timely information is accurately conveyed to stakeholders.
  • Managed the appropriate hours are logged accurately.
  • Provide customer support as needed.
  • Coordinates with training and KB teams in the continual assessment of training, and knowledge to ensure key information is documented for the team.
  • Review tickets to identify trends and issues.
  • Communicate with helpdesk management areas of improvement.
  • Leads the effort for new product and versions that are coming to the Helpdesk.
  • Driving change enablement and evolution with the service offerings – defining roadmaps, evolving service offerings, and rationalizing and consolidating legacy offerings to support an awesome and secure experience for the end-users.
  • Partnering closely with service owners, software engineers, and platform engineers on implementation of strategic enhancements and evolution to the NIH IT Service Desk environment.
  • Providing governance over the environment (integrations, security policies) and interfacing regularly with stakeholders in support of this effort
  • Gather requirements for business processes and determine ways to optimize/improve how they’re using IAM services

Job Requirements:

Education & Experience

  • BA /BS or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Business Administration (desired)
  • Minimum of seven (7+) years of related experience.
  • Minimum of three (3+) years of experience with administering and/or integrating Identify and Access Management services with enterprise application and platforms

Certifications

  • ITIL Certification

Security Clearance

  • Ability to pass and obtain government required background investigation.
  • US Citizen or permanent resident

Other (Travel, Work Environment, Administrative Notes, etc.)

  • Local travel only to customer site
