Position: Team Leader, Irvine (At the Spectrum Center)

Position Description: Team Leaders exist to encourage, serve, and empower their team to uphold our service and hospitality standards. They are ultimately responsible for the success or failure of a shift. The ideal TL is excited to be flexible and creative in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.

How Team Leaders Serve Our Guests and Our Team:

  • Leading and communicating with a team of 4-7
  • Creating a fun, positive atmosphere
  • Opening and closing the store
  • Ensuring operational excellence on shift by:
  • Making sure games start on time
  • Facilitating team member breaks
  • Upholding TEG standards
  • Addressing maintenance issues
  • Managing cash/inventory
  • Ensuring each guest has a five-star experience

Job Requirements:

  • Flexible availability. This role often works nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability with 1-2 years experience in a guest-facing setting preferred
  • Genuine love for serving others
  • Retention and on-shift application of TEG's Mission, Vision, and Values
  • Quick and effective decision-making abilities
  • Creative problem solving
  • Basic computer skills
  • At least 3 months of experience and mastery of the Game Guide and GES positions
  • Job essential: Must be able to handle physical activity as it relates to the job such as deep cleaning, painting, standing, crawling, bending, lifting 30-40 lbs and minor game repairs.
  • Job essential: Quickly resetting numerous locks, drawers, shelves, and game components within specific time frames outlined in training

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
