General Description:
St. Mary Catholic School is seeking highly qualified professional educator who has a commitment to academic excellence. This teacher will serve the mission of St. Mary Catholic school by guiding, inspiring, and educating students in a loving, Christ-centered environment.
Education/Experience Requirements (include but not limited to):
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university
- Michigan Teacher’s Certification
- An understanding of the Catholic Faith and the ability to witness to it personally and professionally
- Catechist certification (or willingness to attain certification)
- Successful teaching experience preferred
- Effectively communicate with students, parents, school staff, and others.
All candidates must be able to pass a background check and understand and abide by the Archdiocese of Detroit contract for employment and the specifications it contains regarding the expectations of a Catholic school employee.
