The Task Leader will support the General Services Administration (GSA), Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), Office. The Task Leader will provide financial support to the OCFO mission and agency goals. The Task Leader will be Responsible for the performance of the work and shall have full authority to act for the contractor on all contract matters relating to daily operation of this task order. The Task Leader shall be the primary point-of-contact with contractor personnel. The Task Leader is to direct contractor personnel in concert with GSA requirements and perform all supervisory duties of contractor employees, including the training of all other contract personnel and administrative details associated with the requirement of this task order. Additional responsibilities are listed but not limited to:

RESPONSIBILITES

  • Responsible for designing, developing, operating, or inspecting federal accounting systems; recommending federal accounting standards, policies, and requirements; examining, analyzing, and interpreting federal accounting data, records, and reports; assisting management on federal accounting and financial management matters; performing duties in cost/financial accounting operations and business management; oral and written communications skills.
  • Serves as the chief analyst working in concert with staff to design, develop, operate, or inspect federal accounting systems; prescribes federal accounting standards, policies, and requirements; examines, analyzes and interprets federal accounting data, records and reports; and assists management on accounting and financial management matters to ensure the efficient stewardship of public funds; applies an understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Practices (GAAP) and standards set forth by the Federal Accounting Standards Advisory Board.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or other relevant discipline required
  • Five years of relevant experience may be substituted for degree requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting/financial management performing duties in cost/financial accounting operations and business management.
  • A minimum of 3 years expereience leading federal financial management contracts of similar size and scope must be demonstrated
