Takeout Representative Job at Dunns River Lounge
Dunns River Lounge in Rockville Centre, Long Island NY is looking for one takeout representative to join our 12 person strong team. We are located on 93 North Park Ave. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, punctual, and hard-working.
Responsibilities

*Welcome guests who enter restaurant to order or pick up takeout *Answer phones and take customers takeout orders and direct other calls as needed. *Offer advice or recommendations to customers on daily specials and other menu items *Operate the restaurant computer system to send orders to the kitchen, and take payment from customers *Must delivery exceptional customer service *Ensure all orders are handed to customers and delivery drivers in a timely manner *Ensure accuracy or food orders produced by kitchen, double checking orders are complete, accurate and timely. Place orders in appropriate bags and or boxes . *Help restaurant staff with other duties as needed.
Qualifications

*Proven experience in a customer service role *Excellent communication and interpersonal skills *Must be able to work in a fast paced environment. Schedule will include evenings, weekends, some holidays. *Good mathematical skills

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Mondays and Wednesdays. Compensation depends on your experience.
