Shaw’s IT Digital Marketing group builds innovative websites and applications that support one of the leading flooring manufacturers in the world. We are looking for a skilled Full Stack .NET developer to become an integral part of our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining the front and back-end our web-based applications and will work closely with the development team to create high-quality responsive user interfaces and ensure a seamless user experience. You should have a strong understanding of front-end web technologies and the .NET framework.

Experience developing public e-commerce or marketing web applications is also a must have.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the front-end and back-end of web-based applications using .NET technologies
• Collaborate with the development team to create user-friendly interfaces and ensure a seamless user experience
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving the quality of the codebase
• Write efficient, reusable, and scalable code that follows best practices and design patterns
• Optimize web pages for maximum speed and scalability
• Debug and troubleshoot front-end issues and implement solutions in a timely manner
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and adherence to web standards
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in front-end web development

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or 5+ years of experience
• Strong understanding of .NET framework, particularly ASP.NET MVC Core Razor and C#
• Strong understanding of front-end web technologies including HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Less, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Experience with front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js
• Proficient in source control systems such as Git
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience working with e-commerce, online product catalogs, or content management systems preferred.
• Experience collaborating with digital marketing teams and with tools such as Adobe, Figma, or Miro preferred.

How We Work

Our team is 100% remote, although those of us who live nearby will occasionally meet up in person at the Shaw headquarters in Dalton, GA. We use Microsoft Teams to stay connected. Besides messaging, we have video calls every morning, for every meeting, and throughout the day, as necessary. Our tech stack is rooted in ASP.NET, Web API, and SQL Server running (mostly) in Microsoft Azure. We use Git for source control and GitHub Actions for builds and deployments. We use Agile/Scrum methodologies to organize our project roadmap and plan our sprints. Please note that we may ask you to apply directly on our website at a later date and time.
