Systems Engineer Job at Sentinel
Sentinel is looking for a Systems Engineer to join our client. The ideal candidate will be assisting senior engineers in configuring and monitoring VMware servers and assisting in proactively remediating cybersecurity vulnerabilities. This position will be traveling to a variety of client sites to install and troubleshooting network equipment as needed. This is a one-year contract position reporting onsite to our client in Chicago, IL.
Qualifications:- Five years of Microsoft/VMware/HP experience managing medium to large data centers and multi-site environments
- Advanced skills with Active Directory Technologies
- Good documentation skills is required
- Experience with Cohesity Backup/Restore application preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and AWS is desired
- Experience with Mimecast email archiving is a plus
- The candidate must have a car, as this position requires travel between location and the transportation of equipment
- A valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required
- Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
- Must demonstrate a “can-do” attitude
