Schneider Electric has an outstanding opportunity for a passionate individual to assume the role of Software Systems Application Engineer. This entry-level position provides exposure for experience in software systems applications.
This role will include programming building automation system controllers, entering database information, setting up controllers and computers, and creating graphics (web page and menus) among other projects/tasks. Office and field work required.
What qualifications will make you successful?
- Current student at an accredited university, pursuing a degree in Engineering such as Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or similar program
- GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred
- Programming knowledge/skills essential (A MUST)
- Knowledge of electrical principles
- Control systems/HVAC systems knowledge a plus (but not required)
- Additional preferred skills to be discussed during interview, tailored to specific business units
