SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: IT Support Specialist
Flexible Work Option: Hybrid
Pay Range: $77,000 - 115,000/yearly

YOUR ROLE & IMPACT
As part of a dynamic team at Charles River Community Health (CRCH), a healthcare practice providing compassionate care to underserved communities, the Systems Administrator-Support Supervisor provides strategic leadership in the areas of support systems, equipment, and reporting from the Health Center’s practice management and electronic health record systems, as well as administration. In this capacity, Systems Administrator-Support Supervisor oversees all IT and IS-related functions at the Health Center.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise team of IT Support Specialists
- Day to day activities of help desk
- Ad hoc projects
- Manage Remote Access Solutions
- VPNs
- Configure, Update and Manage Terminal Servers.
- Configure, Update and Manage virtualization.
- Mange all cloud services.
- Maintain disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
- Maintain Anti-malware, Systems Patch Management, firmware updates.
- New hire and terminations – AD account and computer setup, individual user orientation.
- Write documentation for IT staff and employees.
- Manage WAN and LANs connection and monitor WAN & LAN devices.
- Manage MS Office 365 and all utilized components.
- Train IT to ensure optimized usage by all staff
- Manage firewalls, networking and remote access/VPN and document all changes.
- Service monitoring and alerting.
- Manage Active Directory, Azure AD, DHCP, and DNS services incl. external DNS.
- Manage Storage - SANs, NASs.
- Backups/Cloud sync, etc.
- Security (Policies, equipment such as cameras, vulnerability testing, permissions/ACLs, confidentiality, certificate management, logging, etc., etc.)
- File and print services.
- Computer hardware inventory lifecycle management.
- Responsible for hardware configuration related to Epic EHR, including any new technology or update-related changes.
- Maintain and support the Microsoft Hyper V environment.
- Troubleshoot and provide technical support to employees and contractors in person or remotely.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS, COMPETENCIES, TRAITS
- Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role.
- Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management.
- Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery.
- Ability to create scripts to automate process.
- Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms.
- Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude.
- Excellent communication skills.
