Boeing Global Services (BGS) Supply Chain Planning Organization, is seeking a Mid-Level Supply Chain Specialist (Asset Manager) located in Hazelwood, Missouri. The Asset Manager will be responsible for leading the F-15 Qatar Spares Assurance Program (SAP) Repairs Statement of Work (SOW) as well as supply chain demand and forecast planning and execution activities. The contract supports modern service activity where operations are aligned to Performance Based Logistics support methods.

Position Responsibilities:

  • The candidate will be responsible for managing all repair inductions for the program, and successful execution of the repair management process to meet contractual metrics

  • The candidate will have responsibility to lead cross functional collaboration to identify process improvement initiatives

  • The candidate will be responsible for leading a team of asset managers in executing repair management activities per established processes

  • The candidate will be involved in a multitude of supply chain related activities to include: customer demand review, forecasting assessment, ordering of materials, reporting on supply activity, strategy development for support of prime contract requirements, enhancing processes and procedures, and working across a multi-functional services team

  • The candidate will also interface directly with the Qatar in-country personnel customer, work autonomously within the Boeing enterprise, and will need to have working knowledge, experience, and understanding of both the Repair Management Process and Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) process

  • This position requires a high level of personal accountability and responsibility

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite in Hazelwood, MO. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

  • 3+ years experience in finance, supply chain, project management, supplier management, or accounting

  • 2+ years experience managing aircraft major repairs and/or modifications

  • Proficient in Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) process

  • 2+ years of experience working with asset management, forecasting, order management, expediting, supply chain software systems, supply chain modeling & simulation tools, enterprise resource planning systems and/or sales & operations (S&OP) processes

  • Proficiency and experience in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field

  • Proficient working with repair management tools

  • Possess excellent communication skills allowing for cross functional interaction with the Customer, Program, supply chain, contracts, finance, engineering, and quality.

  • Position requires strong organizational, communication and presentation skills.

  • Experience with asset management systems & tools including supply planning & forecasting tools MS2, SPO, GOLD, TAV, WOW, COPPR, NWP and knowledge of Sales, Inventory, Operations and Planning (SIOP) is preferred.

  • Position requires strong knowledge and experience in military supply support environment including demand and inventory management of company-owned material, customer owned material and program/contract material

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).
