Job Purpose/Summary:
First Line Supervisor, reporting to the District Manager. Supervise field operation personnel and operations of specific assets. Responsible for all activities related to the day-to-day operation and maintenance of pipeline/terminal assets in an assigned area.
Job Responsibilities
  • Reporting to the District Manager.
  • Front line supervisor for the day-to-day operation of an asset or group of assets with an emphasis on safety and compliance.
  • Use sound judgment in relationships with employees, contractors, landowners, and customers, while carrying out company policies and procedures of asset operation.
  • Coordinate various activities with district safety, compliance, and management personnel.
  • Model and promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility throughout your area of responsibility.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required:
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years applicable experience in petroleum pipeline or terminal operations.
  • Successfully complete Haz-Mat training and perform as a member of an emergency response team.
  • Complete safety awareness training and any related/required training and certifications.
  • Experience with Microsoft office suite w/strong emphasis on Excel.
  • Applicable company systems i.e., PIMS, VMAC, Cognos.
  • Able to interface with interconnecting customers in a field environment, and various internal customers.
  • Available for night and weekend duties when needed.
  • Walking, stooping, bending, lifting, and climbing.
  • Primarily outside with exposure to heat, cold, and inclement weather.
