THE ROLE
Ampersand Bay Resort is looking for a summer cleaner with weekend availability. This position involves performing a variety of cleaning tasks to ensure that a designated area is clean, well-maintained, and safe for use.

Responsibilities
- Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
- Dusting furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
- Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and showers
- Emptying and disposing of trash and recycling
- Cleaning windows and glass surfaces
- Stocking and replenishing supplies, such as toilet paper and paper towels
- Reporting any maintenance or repair needs to a supervisor
- Adhering to health and safety protocols, such as wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary
- Communicating with other staff members and supervisors to ensure that cleaning needs are met efficiently and effectively.
Skills
The ideal candidate for a summer cleaner position should be detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Some previous cleaning experience or knowledge of cleaning techniques and products preferred.
