Looking for a candidate who can teach and have a strong background in 3D Printing during Summer Break in Santa Paula. Be a part of an exciting, enrichment program nurturing TK-6th graders in advancing their abilities and providing them with a one-of-a-kind experience you can't get anywhere else. If you are interested in becoming a teacher, working in STAR’s Summer Break setting is a great place to start!*

  • Available shifts:
  • 11:45-5:15 pm
  • Session 1 June 21-30
  • Session 2 July 5-14
  • Session 3 July 17-21
  • $35 per hour
  • Location: Santa Paula

Other responsibilities include:

  • Supervising mealtime (Lunch, and Supper)
  • Supervising Field Trips

Must be able to pick up supplies from our Regional Office in Thousand Oaks.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience teaching TK-6th grade students
  • Must have Reliable Transportation
  • Must be punctual, reliable, enthusiastic, responsible, and flexible
  • CRP and First Aid Certified or willing to get certified
  • Dedicated to children with diverse backgrounds and academic levels
  • Ability to work in fast-pace environment

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Independently Lead groups of up to 14 students from TK-6th grade
  • Attend Teacher Training where you will be trained in Classroom Management
  • Instructors are expected to arrive on time and provide an educational, safe, and enjoyable class experience for students
  • Creative, artist thinking with the ability to do so under time constraints
  • Create curriculum and execute them effectively

A background check and TB test are required for employment. Teachers must have reliable transportation and be comfortable with and responsible for transporting materials to schools.
