Norton Staffing & Recruiting is a Massachusetts based agency. Here at Norton, we collaborate with schools across the country to assist with hiring high quality education professionals. We are continuously looking to expand our staff base by offering various assignments including long/short term, full-time/part-time, temporary and permanent.
We are looking for a Spanish long term substitute teacher to assist at a high school in Sacramento, CA until June 1st 2023.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
· Support the assigned school’s mission, philosophies, values, goals, and policies toward students, parents/guardians, and coworkers.
· Interact politely and respectfully with children.
· Deliver appropriate lessons and instruction which reflects the goals of each child.
· Collect student data when required
· Create reports using data collected
· Work alongside a multidisciplinary team
· Keep the classroom environment clean and organized.
SKILLS AND CHARACTERISTICS:
· Passionate about teaching and working with children
· Maintain a professional and no excuses attitude
· Receptive to any and all feedback and desire to grow professionally
· Highly organized
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
· Bachelor's degree in related subjects and Valid Teaching License or Certification in respective State
