Studio Assistant (Contract) Job at Ariat International
About the Role
Ariat is looking for a self-motivated Studio Assistant that can support general photo studio and sample needs. This role will work with both the Studio Manager and the Sample Manager on sample inventory, organization, and supporting the day-to-day needs of our e-comm photo shoots.
You’ll Make a Difference By
Studio + Photo Shoots:
- Generally supports Studio Manager in the day-to-day operations of our photo shoots
- Assists the Producer with administrative tasks such as building shot lists and call sheets.
- Understands how our samples are organized so can be helpful in looking for samples, pulling additional sizing, and returning items to the inventory as needed.
- Drives samples back and forth between the off-site Studio and HQ as needed
- Orders catering for the photo crew
- Keep studio organized and picked up
- Keeps studio stocked with office and studio supplies
- May need to help open or close the studio in coordination with the Studio Manager
- Assists the Style Team as needed
Samples:
- Generally supports the Sample Manager in receiving, organizing, and providing samples to the studio and lifestyle teams.
- Un-boxes, organizes and tags Marketing samples for all departmental needs
- Helps with sample orders and returns
- Pulls product for photo shoots and Marketing requests
- Helps to maintain our sample inventory
About You
- Must be available to work full time, on site/in-person
- Must have access to a car and be able to drive short distances as needed
- A foundation in Excel and MS Office applications is required
- Must be a self-starter who shows initiative in your role
- Ability and willingness to manage the needs of both sides of this role: both in assisting on photo shoots and supporting samples.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Extremely well-organized possessing multi-tasking skills
- Able to lift 40 lbs unassisted

The hourly rate for this position is $30 per hour.
The salary is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data for geographic locations.
