The Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation is seeking part time (15-20 hours per week) administrative assistance for educational and research programs. This position entails performing database entry, error checking, document conversion, spreadsheet creation, tracking for different programs (i.e. residency application review), and performing phone calls to confirm scheduling and/or obtain patient consent as needed. Other duties as assigned by supervisor may be necessary.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma; OR Equivalent
- Enrolled in or on vacation from or is otherwise registered in an Undergraduate Program (minimum 6 credit hours)
- General office experience
High level of organization and prioritization skills, team oriented, strong public relations and customer service skills, ability to work cooperatively with academic, unclassified management and classified personnel, strong interpersonal skills and communication skills. Courteous telephone manner and etiquette. Maintain confidentiality.
