Example of Duties

  • Coverage for front-office operations including analyzing, deciphering, and explaining details of student account activity and processes to students via phone, walk-up, and email.
  • Process student account payments, troubleshoot technical issues with the processor, and reconcile daily cash receipt sessions.
  • Coordinate administrative function of collections process including mail merges, advanced spreadsheet creation and maintenance, data uploads/downloads, and creating and running reports.
  • Create and convert procedural documentation from the department's extensive and technical processes.
  • Manage external scholarship payments, deposits, reconciliations, and record maintenance in coordination with Financial Aid and Controller's Office.
  • Assist with the management of Federal Perkins and Federal Nursing loan programs including frequent analysis, processing, reconciliations, and technical exchanges or data with the third-party loan servicer.

Minimum Qualifications

Some knowledge of:

  • Accounting principles and practices

Good knowledge of:

  • Financial record-keeping methods

Experience:

  • Bookkeeping
  • Using advanced Microsoft Excel functions
  • Researching and compiling financial info and preparing summaries and reports
  • Using personal computers to retrieve, edit, and analyze financial data
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree
