Job Description
The Student Hourly Assistant, under general supervision, will assist the College of Juvenile Justice with tutoring, Panther Connect, and monitoring the student resource lab in the college
Responsibilities:
  • Assist departments with clerical support
  • Monitor the student resource lab / Maintain the Panther Connect platform and related activities
  • Conduct internal/external tours for the College
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Required Education and Experience:
  • Must be in good academic standing (SAP) as demonstrated through your college; minimum 2.0 GPA
  • No prior experience is necessary
  • For work eligibility during a summer term, a student must be enrolled for at least six (6) graduate or undergraduate semester credit hours during the term in which the work is to be done or preregistered at least six (6) undergraduate semester hours or nine (9) graduate semester hours for the upcoming fall term.
Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Criminal Justice or Juvenile Justice major
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Must be able to multitask
  • Must be punctual and detail-oriented
  • Prior employment
  • Student engagement
